This page explains what happens to your personal data when you visit this site or write to us, under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. It is the short, honest version, not legalese padding.
Doze Dupla, a creative studio based in Lisboa, Portugal, is the data controller. For anything on this page, write to hello@dozedupla.com.
When you fill in the contact form: your name, email and whatever you choose to tell us about the project. We use it to read your message and reply. The legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the box, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
The site runs on essential cookies only. No advertising networks, no third-party trackers, no profiling, no automated decision-making.
Two service providers process data on our behalf: Netlify, which hosts the site and receives contact form submissions, and Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces and therefore receives your IP address when the page loads. Both may process data outside the European Economic Area, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone else.
Contact enquiries are kept for up to two years from our last exchange, so we can pick up a conversation where it stopped. After that they are deleted. If a project starts, the relevant records are kept for as long as the law requires for contracts and invoicing.
You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was lawful before.

You have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados), at cnpd.pt. We would rather you told us first.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
